Why Couldn’t You Manage Rawlings Like Akufo-Addo Has Managed Kuffuor? – NDC Group Fires Mahama, Asiedu Nketiah

A Pro- NDC Group, which was launched for the previous election, Victory For Mahama 2016, has accused bigwigs of the party and those surrounding Former President John Dramani Mahama of being responsible for the bad blood between him and Founder of the party, Mr. Jerry John Rawlings.

The group says the likes of Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah and others failed to offer good counselling on how then President Mahama should have handled Former President Rawlings, a situation which they said had contributed to the sour relationship between the two.

They observed that unlike his colleague,  the current President, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, has displayed sterling leadership by being able to manage Former President John Agyekum Kufuor very well.

According to them, though similar frosty relationship existed between then President Kufuor and Nana Akufo Addo during the heat of the 2007 flagbearship race, Nana Akufo Addo has been able to carry President Kufuor along very well, resulting in the latter always giving sweet and sound testimonies about the former.

“We all saw how dirty the relationship between Mr. Kufuor and Nana Addo was, especially during 2007/2008 political season, it was far bitter than that of Mr. Mahama and Jerry John Rawlings,  but today what do we see, they get along very well and Mr. Kufuor is contributing massively to the NPP electioneering campaign,  why can’t President Mahama do same?” The group queried.
