Prof Ransford Gyampo, a political science lecturer at the University of Ghana has taken on the government over the rampant fuel hikes.
This comes after fuel price over the last week went up by 3.3%.
Reacting to it on social media, Gyampo said the government was voted into power to solve problems and not to offer explanations to everything that happens.
According to him there’s always a reason for anything that happens and it’s the duty of the government to address it.
“There is always a reason why fuel prices go up. Just as there is a reason today, there was a reason yesterday. We are tired of the explanations. The hikes are now killing. The essence of governance is to solve problems & not to eloquently explain them,” he wrote.
