Should EC Be Shot Because Of Anomalies? NDC Must Allow Them To Work – NPP’s Nana Kay

A communication team member of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Nana Kwadwo Agyei Yeboah (Nana Kay) has wondered why the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) keep interfering in the work of the Electoral Commission.

According to him, a planned address today by NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama on some anomalies in the voters’ register is unnecessary because the EC is already attending to it, which is exactly why there’s an ongoing exhibition exercise.

”Should officials of the EC shot because of the anomalies in the ongoing exhibition exercise? The essence of the exhibition is to correct the errors. The EC is a human institution and will make mistakes…The EC should be allowed to do its work without any interference. This, was the position of Mahama in 2016,” he stated.
