Mr. Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, Minister of Trade and Industry, has called on traders in the market segment of Makola and adjoining communities in Greater Accra to rally support for Mr. Kyerematen to win the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential slop and then the national general election in 2024 to make Ghana a better and safer place to do business.

The groups’ call on traders to pray for the current Trade and Industrial Minister to win the NPP Presidential slot and the national general election has become necessary, according to the groups, because they believe Mr. Kyerematen has the necessary qualifications and technical know-how to transform the country’s general economic activities.

According to the organizations, Mr. Kyerematen has taken a commanding lead in the upcoming NPP Presidential election, demonstrating that he is the best personality capable of leading the NPP to victory in the 2024 general election.

“To achieve this better status, Mr. Alan Kyerematen simply requires prayers from the traders of Makola market and Ghana in general,” the groups claimed.

The groups made the announcement while celebrating Valentine’s Day with Makola market women on February 14, 2022.

Mr. Kyerematen’s One District-One-Factory (1D1F) initiative was championed by the mission, which gave out made-in-Ghana products as part of the 1D1F lead to commemorate the yearly event.

Niche Chocolate and Cocoa Drink, Nano Fruit Juice, Eku Fruit Juice, Lan T Soy Milk, and Golden Tree Chocolate, all of which are part of the government’s Free Zone Enterprise, are among the items.

Under Mr. Kyerematen’s 1D1F initiative, which is part of the government’s major programs to create more jobs and employment, the Kings and Queens of Alan are taking this step to urge Ghanaians to buy, promote, and invest in made-in-Ghana goods.

At the event, Queen mother of Apaa, Nana Esare-Botchway III, Akwamuhenmaa of Gomoa Akyempeam Traditional Council in the Central Region, as well as an Opinion Leader Makola 31st Market, Madam Christiana Laryea, urged the market women and everyone present to support and champion Mr. Kyerematen’s initiative.
