Kennedy Agyapong To Appeal Case Against Kweku Baako

Ralph Agyapong, lawyer for Assin Central Member of Parliament Kennedy Agyapong has disclosed  an appeal will be filed against an Accra High Court’s ruling in favor of Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako Jnr regarding his defamation suit against the MP.

Kennedy Agyapong was given 30days to retract and apologise three times on the various platforms which he defamed Kweku Baako.

In addition, he’s to pay Ghc100,000 and Ghc30,000 as cost of legal expenses to Mr Baako.

Speaking on Net2 TV, Lawyer Agyapong said they’re going to appeal the ruling and warned Kweku Baako to desist from attacking his client on any platform.

According to him, Mr Baako has been chastising his client on radio platforms labelling him ’empty.’
