Kennedy Agyapong Has Never Been My Friend – Muntaka

Minority Chief Whip, Muntaka Mubarak has revealed that Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has never been a friend although they’ve been in parliament for sixteen years.

Speaking with Kwabena Prah on Accra FM’s Ghana Yensom, Muntaka said everyone associates with whoever they want and so he has no friendship with Kennedy.

“I always say that Kennedy Agyapong has never been a friend, 16 years we’ve been in the house. Everyone and the kind of people they want to associate themselves with.”

“There are some other people I don’t want to associate with  and I’m sure they also don’t want to associate with me…..but I have a style, everyone will tell you, I’ll say something, if there is an issue I’ll talk about it but that doesn’t mean we’re fighting,” he stated.

Hon Muntaka said he believes they should be setting good example as parliamentarians for others to follow, therefore there is no need engaging in quarrels with each other.

Kennedy Agyapong and Muntaka Mubarak have had a history of heated exchanges, however, Muntaka says everything is calm and they look forward to setting a good precedence for others to follow.
