Kennedy Agyapong Goes Hard On ‘NDC Prophet’, Threatens To Expose Him And The NDC

Published

on

Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has dared to deal with Apostle Kwabena Owusu Agyei should he proceed with his ‘evil’ intent against Chairperson of the Electoral Commission and others.

Apostle Kwabena Owusu Agyei, believed to be a staunch member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in a viral video was seen threatening and raining insults on EC Chairperson, Jean Mensah with death if she goes ahead to compile the new voters’ register.

The prophet threatened that Jean Mensah will die on a midday if the voters’ register is changed.

“Let me tell them (Akyems) something, on June 4 people were crying let the blood flow, it was only military people whose blood flowed… Today as I hear the let the blood flow, it is the blood of the Akyem Mafia that will flow… I saw Akyem Kyebi palace, I saw it on fire and people were saying let the blood flow,” he said while warning President Akufo-Addo to not open the borders for prospective runaways.”

“I’m telling Jean Mensah today… If Jean Mensah thinks she was not born of a woman but came from some other angle, she should go ahead and do the new register. She will die 12 midday. She will die just like that. Nonsense! Idiot! You’re an idiot Jean Mensah… Stupid Akufo-Addo girl…” he fumed.

This outburst seemed to have gotten on the nerves of Mr Kennedy Agyapong who has in return threatened to expose the prophet and his cohorts.

“If you access his agenda, he’s part of the NDC plan to disgrace President Akufo-Addo,” the legislator said on Net2 TV. “This man deals in stolen cars. I will launch a full attack on him. Obinim should be thankful to God that my attention has shifted from him.”

“First, that pastor should be arrested. They should have arrested him yesterday. If he is a man, he should avail himself. He claimed I said Ewes and Gas should be killed so I was charged with treason; how about his statement that he will kill Jean Mensa? What should we do to him? Are you sure he’s a man of God? How much did NDC pay him to do these kinds of things,” Kennedy asked.

Mr Agyapong alleged that the NDC have plans to frustrate the electoral process. The video clip, he said, forms part of the strategies by the opposition party as it fears defeat awaits the party, should the register be changed.

“They claim they have more men in the security agencies than NPP has so they’ll get their people to support them whenever there is a riot. I want to tell them that Ghanaians are not fools, they consider the condition of service and do a comparison,” he said with fury.

“We also have the men, let them make a mistake, and try it. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. The same way they beat Gabby and others to the extent of damaging their eyes, if this pastor is a man, let him lead the demonstration that day and he will see that we have the men. If you’re a man, Owusu Agyei, try. If he jokes, he will never step foot at his church. I challenge him, I dare him! If he is a man, he should try. He won’t step foot in his church again… You’ll die before Jean Mensa…”

He went on to accuse the NDC of contracting some electoral officers and intend to them pay each an amount of $200,000.

“Jean Mensah should listen and listen carefully. NDC is going to use her district electoral officers to destroy the machines to slow down the registration. NPP should also monitor them,” he warned.

“Wherever you go and are told the machines have slowed down, take actions against them. Resist and make sure they work with the machine; especially all the strongholds of NPP. They have planned to destroy EC’s machines with arsines.”

“They have 4 insiders: Human Resource, Secretary to Jean Mensah. I’m yet to get hold of the others. These people are going to be paid $200,000 each. This is their game plan and they’re executing it. They say they will create an artificial scene for me because whether NPP will win or not depends on me. They’re going use prisoners against me but it will not work,” he said.

Apply Wisdom In Your Borrowing And Stop Burdening Our Kids With Debts – NDC To Government

Published

on

The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has charged the government to prudently use monies they borrow.

Speaking at the Policy dialogue on the economy held in Accra on Monday, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson said the ruling NPP is in a business of burdening the next generation with debt because they’re not investing wisely.

“Everyone borrows but please when you borrow, borrow smartly. Borrow not for chop chop but pay for things that can repay for itself. Even advanced countries borrow. When they borrow, they build infrastructure. They do things that can repay itself. They don’t borrow for chop chop and it is important we make that point.”

“What the NPP is seeking to do now is to actually give all of us, our kids, our generations a burden of carrying a public debt. A debt that when we are not careful, we cannot pay,” he added.

Mahama Should Have Been Jailed Like Jacob Zuma – Kofi Akpaloo

Published

on

Leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana, Percival Kofi Akpaloo has said that Former President Mahama should have been in jail by now.

According to him, if the former special prosecutor, Martin Amidu had balls, John Mahama would be in jail like former South African President, Jacob Zuma.

Jacob Zuma, served as South Africa’s President from 2009 to 2018, when he resigned under growing pressure from his party, the African National Congress (ANC), amid declining electoral support and public anger at corruption allegations during his tenure.

On June 29, the constitutional court sentenced Zuma to 15 months in jail for defying an instruction earlier in February to give evidence at an inquiry examining allegations of high-level corruption during his time in office.

It will be recalled that prior to election 2020, flagbearer of the NDC, and former President Mahama was cited in the infamous Airbus saga in which some persons were accused of bribes and kickbacks in the sale of aircrafts.

However, then special prosecutor, Martin Amidu said he could not investigate the former President because it was an election year and tensions were high.

According to Mr Akpaloo, “Martin Amidu was lying to have said that because it was an election year he couldn’t prosecute Mahama…It’s a lie …he just can’t do the job”.

“Is the ANC not the government in Power in South Africa? Why didn’t they say jailing Jacob Zuma would ignite chaos in the country? Mahama should’ve been jailed like Jacob Zuma”. Akpaloo emphasised.

Former President John Dramani Mahama has revealed that his ambition to contest elections again is not over and he’s likely to make a comeback for the National Democratic Congress (NDC.

Mr Mahama made this known in his Eid-ul-Adha message on July 20 to Muslims in the Bole-Bamboi constituency delivered on his behalf by the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Bole-Bamboi constituency Alhaji Yussif Sulemana on Bole based Nkilgi FM on the 2021 Eid-ul-Adha day.

The Bole MP said; “former President John Dramani Mahama who is from Bole has asked me to tell the good people of Bole-Bamboi Constituency that, he has not forgotten of the good things they have done for him over the years and that Inshah Allah (God willing) he is likely to come back to contest elections in his party and so they should use this special Eid-ul-Adha day to thank God and to ask for good health, success and victory for him.”

The former President has been silence on a return since his defeat in the 2020 polls to president Akufo-Addo. With this message, supporters of Mr Mahama can have a renewed sense of hope to see him come back to lead the NDC in 2024.
