‘I Mean It, I Swear, I Will Kill Myself If NPP Lose The Election’ – Obiri Boahen

Deputy General Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Obiri Boahen has insisted that he’ll kill himself should the the party lose the December 7 polls.

Obiri Boahen had weeks ago stated on Kingdom FM, “we have a lot of work to do before 2020 elections, it’s a daunting task, and we have few months to the next elections. Trust me whether anybody likes it or yes President Akufo-Addo will be crowned President in 2020 elections, and no human being can stop that. I will drink DDT if Akufo-Addo fails to win 2020 elections.”

Speaking on Neat FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’ today, he reiterated that desire and insists nothing is going to stop him to do that if the NPP loses.

According to him the Akufo Addo led government has than more than enough to get a second term from Ghanaians.

“I mean it, I swear, I will kill myself if we [NPP] lose the election. I wasn’t joking and not joking,” he stressed.
