Have You Ever Bought ‘Olonka’ Rice For Any NPP Member Before? – Obiri Boahen Takes On Nyaho-Tamakloe

A former deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Obiri Boahen, has taken on Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe for his belligerent behavior and questioned him if he has ever forked out his own money to buy a cup of rice for any member of the NPP before.

Nana Obiri Boahen argues that the contribution of Hon. Kennedy Agyapong to the NPP is significant and the party would continue to revere him than a sacked member Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe.

According to him during the 2022 Christmas season, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong purchased 9,000 bags of rice and distributed it to the party for free.

He therefore wondered if Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe has used his own penny to buy an “olonka rice” for any NPP member.

“Do you know the contributions of Kennedy Agyapong and even the t-shirts he has printed for the party?” he said.

In a studio interview on Wontumi TV’s State of Ghana show last Saturday, Nana Obiri Boahen declared that Nyaho-Tamakloe is not member of the NPP and should never be addressed as a founding member of the party.

“The party has sacked you and Wereko Brobbey as members. You guys are not founding members of the NPP”, he fumed as he discredited Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe claim that he is a founding member of the NPP.
