Minister for Energy and MP for Manhyia South, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has said that he feels sad and greatly troubled whenever he hears people blame Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia for the country’s economic woes.

In an interview on Peace FM’s ‘Kokrokoo’ morning show, Dr. Opoku Prempeh questioned why people should lay blame for the country’s woes on the Vice President.

According to the Manhyia South MP, the economic management team is made up of a group of individuals and not an individual affair to be laid at the feet of Dr. Bawumia.

The Minister also pleaded with Ghanaians to keep faith with the Akufo-Addo administration since they have what it takes to salvage the economy.
