I Challenge ‘Papa No’ Mahama To Take Me To Court Himself – Adamant Akua Donkor Speaks Again

The founder of Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Akua Donkor, says she would be very glad if former president and flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dramani Mahama rather drags her to court over defamation.

Madam Akua Donkor has already dragged to court by one Mary Awusi for making defamatory statements about Mr Mahama.

According to the writ filed at an Accra High Court, Madam Akua Donkor’s statements dent the image and high-earned reputation of the former president and his party, NDC.

The plaintiff is praying the Court for a retraction and apology as well as imposing a restraining order on Akua Donkor from making any defamatory about Mahama in the future.

But reacting to this on the Yensempa morning show on Onua FM on Friday, August, 21, Madam Akua Donkor said she is yet to receive any letter but she is patiently waiting to be told that Mr Mahama has sued her.

She stoutly told host Nana Okyere Awurukuo that she would not apologize for any statement made against the former president because she has evidence and she is ready to produce them to back her claims in court

She challenged the former president and maintained persistently that she frequently met these ladies at Mr Mahama’s house when he was president, revealing these ladies in 2016 actively campaigned for NDC.

Akua Donkor repeatedly referred to and tagged Mr. Mahama with the popular ‘Papa No’ slogan, revealing that the former president used to date a lady from Agogo whom he bought a house for at Tema in Accra.

She has vowed to release voices of the lady in question and expressed fret over how Mr. Mahama has embittered and disappointed her after working tirelessly for him to win the election petition in court in 2012.
