Even If I Lose As Regional Chairman, I’ll Still Support NPP To Win 2024 Polls – Chairman Wontumi
Chairman Wontumi has revealed that even if he should lose his position as Regional Chairman, he would still support the New Patriotic Party (NPP) wholeheartedly to win the 2024 elections.
The Ashanti Regional Chairman for the NPP, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, made this remark as he met members of the party during his tour to prepare them for the party’s impending polling station elections.
His declaration to support the party no matter the outcome of his position in the future, won him the loudest cheers as he was applauded by the gathering.
“Even if I don’t win the elections as Regional Chairman and the party has to replace me to win the 2024 election, I will support it”, Chairman Wontumi said.
He advised the party members to work harder to ensure the elections at the polling station level goes through properly noting that “the hardest work is the election at the polling station. If it is done well, we have won the elections”.
Chairman Wontumi also called on the party delegates to elect competent people to represent them at the various polling stations.
