The Suame Contituency Youth Organizer for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) recently made some remarks that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has condemned. Jennifer Oforiwaa Queen, the NPP’s deputy communications director, emphasized that it is inappropriate for the organizer to make statements that could affect national security. She asserts that whenever similar occurrences take place within the minority party, they encourage people to defend themselves rather than denouncing the alleged conduct. She said that the NDC executives are instructing their communicators to rally supporters against the NPP, which is concerning because the NDC has chosen to rationalize the murderous statement rather than denounce and distance itself from it.
