Akufo-Addo Is Using Ato Forson’s Lawsuit To Force NDC MPs To Approve e-levy – Asiedu Nketiah

The General Secretary of the opposition NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah has said that the lawsuit initiated by the government against former deputy minister of finance Cassiel Ato Forson is just a ploy to whip NDC MPs in line.

Mr. Ato Forson has been charged with causing financial loss to the state over his role in the purchase of some so-called defective ambulances during his tenure as deputy finance minister.

However, NDC General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah believes the move is just a self-serving plot by government to force through the controversial e-levy.

According to him, the Akufo-Addo government is using the fear of prison to intimidate NDC MPs into accepting the e-levy.
