Details: How Chief Of Staff Wept, Begged Embittered Adwoa Safo To Take Part In e-levy Vote

It has emerged that MP for Dome Kwabenya, Sarah Adwoa Safo needed some complex cajoling until she finally decided to take part in the voting on the controversial e-transactions levy.

In a report by online portal MyNewsGh, it took the exceptional negotiation skills and motherly persuasion of the Chief of Staff, Madam Frema Osei Opare to get her to enter parliament.

Apparently, Adwoa Safo refused to enter the floor of parliament last Monday when voting was expected to take place on the e-levy.

This accounted for the majority leader, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu employing delay tactics until he could get the full complement of his MPs.

The Dome Kwabenya MP appears to be aggrieved about how her issues with the National Coordinator for the School Feeding Program was handled and has also refused to resume work at the Ministry for Gender.
