General Manager of Class Media Group, Kwame A Plus has described President Akufo-Addo as the real definition of ‘Trust no man’ in the wake of apparent stealing by some of the President’s appointees.
A Plus was reacting to revelations made by the special prosecutor’s office to the effect that the sacked PPA boss, AB Adjei had accumulated over 450 billion Ghana Cedis in just two years of his appointment.
In a Facebook post, A Plus wrote,
“Before he was appointed PPA boss, Mr Adjei had only forty-five thousand Ghana cedis in his account. (45.000). In a little over 2 years, the sacked PPA boss accumulated this in his private accounts:
Ghana Cedis – Fifteen million, six hundred and ninety-one thousand, five hundred fifty-nine and thirty pesewas (GHS 15,691,559.30)
USD – Four million, four hundred and sixty-seven thousand, and fifty-five cents (USD 4,467,055.00)
Euro – Fifty-four thousand, five hundred. (Euro54,500.00)
The above in Ghana Cedis is more than forty-five million Ghana cedis. (45.000.000.00) – about 450 billion old Ghana cedis. This is according to his bank statement released by the Office of the Special Prosecutor.
The most annoying thing is that this man right here was the star witness who testified against Charlotte Osei for procurement breaches. So my question is very simple; why is this man walking free in a country where poor plantain, cassava, and goat thieves are sentenced to ten or more years in prison?
Akufo Addo is a living example of “trust no man.” He promised to protect the public purse but is rather protecting those who rape the public purse in broad daylight, while his misinformed supporters victimize those who speak against it. This is just one appointee. Think about it!!!!”
