Abraham Amaliba, a member of the opposition NDC’s legal team has said the Minority will ensure that the right thing is done concerning the Agyapa deal.
His comment comes after Finance minister, Ken Ofori-Atta served notice that the deal will be going back to Parliament after their recess.
He said the NDC cannot endorse a deal that does not serve the interest of the state.
“Until all the issues are addressed the opposition cannot just say that we are giving it a clean bill of health, because, the work of opposition is to ensure the right thing is done.
“We are not being difficult, we just want the right thing to be done and we will continue insisting the right things are done,” he told Johnnie Hughes on the new Day show on TV3 Thursday October 14.
