General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, and one of the witnesses for the petitioner in the 2020 Election Petition, will today mount the witness box once again at the Supreme Court.
Among the questions to answer today, is the question of why the NDC fed their Supporters with the impression that they had won the election when they knew that was not the case.
Counsel for the 2nd respondent, Mr Akoto Ampaw, who is leading the Cross-examination is expected to play a video in which some top NDC executives including the petitioner, John Mahama claimed to have won the 2020 election.
The NDC, after the 2020 Election, alleged a stolen verdict, and whipped up their Supporters into the streets in protest claiming that their candidate had won the election and the EC, in concert with the NPP, was trying to manipulate the results.
However, this massive allegation strangely did not find its way into the petition, with the NDC now claiming that nobody won the election.
Leading Cross-examination on Friday, Mr Akoto Ampaw had sought to question Mr Asiedu Nketiah by playing some videos to him.
The court has to be adjourned because no arrangements had been made to facilitate the playing of a video.
It is expected that the court will today, begin from there.
