Who Are You To Speak On Behalf Of Government? Adongo Queries Gabby

The member of Parliament for Bolga Central, Honorable Isaac Adongo has questioned the pedigree of leading member of the ruling NPP, Gabby Asare Otchere Darko to be speaking on behalf of the government.

Mr Adongo, who was making an appearance on Metro TV’s Good Evening Ghana with Paul Adom Otchere expressed disappointment at being made to listen to the views of Gabby Asare Otchere Darko, with regards to the controversial Agyapa Royalties deal.

The Bolga Central MP questioned Mr Otchere Darko’s pedigree in government, describing his views on the Agyapa deal as an ignorant understanding of the financial management of the country.

Mr Adongo also slammed Otchere Darko for what he describes as trying so hard to protect his personal interest at the expense of the state.

The Agyapa Mineral Royalties agreement which was initiated by the government of President Akufo-Addo has come under intense scrutiny from the opposition NDC and a confederation of CSOs who have expressed varieties of concerns on the terms of the deal.
