We Wouldn’t Have Had Unemployed Graduates Association If You Had Any Formula To Create Jobs – Prez Jabs Mahama

President Akufo Addo has responded to former President John Dramani Mahama’s promise to create massive jobs for the youth if elected President again.

The former president in his campaign tours has been insisting his focus is on job creation for the youth.

In response, President Akufo Addo during a tour in the Western region told Skyy Power FM that the country for the first time had an unemployed graduates association under the administration of John Mahama, quizzing where the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer’s job creation formula was at that time.

“I have heard him say he will create abundant jobs when he comes back to power but we didn’t see any jobs in his tenure; you remember that the Unemployed Graduates Association grew up in his time so if he had any formula to create jobs, how could that association have sprung up; there was an embargo on recruitment into the public sector; all these things are in his period”.

He quizzed what the former president did to employ the “thousands and thousands” of nurses and teachers who had graduated years ago and were “sitting at home” in his tenure.
