NPP stalwart, Hopeson Adorye has explained that he took steps to formally lodge a missing person complaint to the United States authorities including the FBI after he was accused of allegedly masterminding the kidnap of controversial video blogger, Twene Jonas.
Hopeson had claimed in a live video last month that Twene Jonas had been sacked from his place of work and had been marked for deportation over claims of being an illegal immigrant.
Following this revelation, some friends of Jonas in various live videos alleged that he has gone missing and laid the blame at the feet of Hopeson Adorye and the ruling government.
However, in an interview on Accra-based Okay FM, Hopeson Adorye explained that the need to clear his name from the allegations forced him to make a formal complaint to the US authorities.
