Video: Security Personnel Force Some Ghanaians To Carry Out Communal Labor After They Refused To Wear A Face Mask

Some unlucky Ghanaians were given the shock of their lives when they were ordered by security personnel to clear gutters and filth as punishment for defying the president’s directive of wearing a face mask.

President Akuffo Addo through the introduction of the new Executive Instrument (E.I 164), essentially made the wearing of face masks, face shields or any other face-covering mandatory. By the same instrument, the President has also granted the security personnel the authority to check compliance.

But some Ghanaians are still yet to come to terms with the new reality or are deliberately being stubborn by refusing to wear the prescribed face covering to safeguard their own lives and that of others.

Well, some people have found out the new reality in the most embarassing and unexpected manner as they were accosted by security personnel and made to undergo a form of communal exercise as punishment for their crime.
