Former President John Dramani Mahama has been advised by Oteatuoso Etwienana Baffour Oteatuoso Kokoben II, to stay indoor with his wife, Lordina Mahama and watch the live telecast of President Akufo-Addo’s swearing in on January 7, 2021.

According to him whether Mahama decides to grace the swearing-in of Akufo-Addo or not, the ceremony will go on.

He further noted that whether Mahama’s congratulatory message comes or not, Nana Addo will be President.

He has therefore advised the former President to stay indoors with his wife, Lordina Mahama and watch the colorful ceremony on their television screens since no one is bothered whether he shows up or not.

“Ghanaians are going to swear-in President Akufo-Addo and what can he do? The only thing Mahama can do is to stay indoors with Lordina Mahama and watch tv. Whether the congratulatory message comes or not, Nana is the President. If Mahama hasn’t congratulated him who cares? The fact that he hasn’t sent it doesn’t make Nana Akufo-Addo an illegitimate President,” he was quoted by Wontumi online.
