A heartbreaking farewell service was held today at the Christ The King Catholic Church in Accra for Justine Mary-Anne Enyonam Agbenu, one of the two young women who tragically lost their lives in the East Legon crash on October 12, 2024. The accident, which also claimed the life of her close friend Maame Dwomoh Boaten, has left the community grieving deeply.

Justine, who is being laid to rest today, Wednesday, October 23, 2024, is being honored in a solemn service attended by family, friends, and loved ones. The private burial will follow the service, allowing the family to say their final goodbye in peace.

Videos from the ceremony that have surfaced online capture the emotional atmosphere, as mourners are seen in tears while the white casket, carrying Justine’s remains, is carefully brought into the church. The sorrow in the room is palpable, with one particularly poignant moment showing the casket being gently moved to the front of the church as the clergy and her family offered a brief prayer before the farewell service began.

Justine’s passing has left a deep void in the hearts of all who knew her, a tragic reminder of the fleeting nature of life. Today, her family, friends, and community come together to bid her farewell, mourning the untimely loss of a life full of promise.
