The Founder and General Overseer of Life Assembly Worship Centre, Reverend Christian Kwabena Andrews, popularly known as Osofo Kyiri Abosom, is alleging that some New Patriotic Party (NPP) officials were deployed as Electoral Commission (EC) officers to help the government rig the 2020 general elections.

He further alleged that several returning officers across the country were in on this and helped rig the polls in favour of the 2020 polls.

He claims he saw videos of returning officers stealing his votes in polling stations and scoring zero for him when he had people vote for him.

“There were EC officials who were appointed to work for the EC, but the truth is, they were NPP and went to some polling stations to rig the polls,” he said.

”They were not neutral, which is why I propose that we remove these agents and replace them with security agencies.”

He also revealed, while speaking with Dr. Ren on Rainbow Radio 92.4Fm’s Frontline, that a returning officer confided in him that some EC returning officers engaged in several malpractices, including stealing votes and adding them to those of other candidates, as quoted by Rainbowradioonline.com.

He stated that the NDC had a case, but that suing Jean Mensa was not the best approach because returning officers from polling stations, constituencies, and regional levels were involved.

He claimed that the EC boss was only reporting what she had heard from the returning officers and that this could have influenced the results.
