Revealed: Mahama To ‘Dump’ Naana Agyemang And Appoint Ex-Ashanti Regional Minister As Running Mate In 2024 – Captain Smart

Broadcaster and journalist, Godsbrain Captain Smart says former president John Dramani Mahama is under increasing pressure to replace Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang as running mate for the 2024 elections.

He claimed that some high profile persons within the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are trying to convince the party’s 2020 flagbearer to go for someone from the Ashanti region to maximise their chances of winning ore votes from the region in 2024.

He however, failed to mention the name of whoever it would be.

“Why are NDC bigwigs telling Mahama to change Professor Opoku-Agyemang as running mate. The woman is quiet now because NDC members want an Ashanti as Running Mate. The person will be a former Ashanti Regional Minister. I won’t mention his name,” he said.
