Reject Leaders Who’ll Dampen Your Spirits And Take Us Back To Egypt – Ofori-Atta Warns Ghanaians

Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta has urged Ghanaians to rejects leaders who mishandled the economy and then once it’s been revitalized by President Akufo-Addo turn back and try to send the people back to Egypt.

Speaking in Parliament during the presentation of the 2021 budget statement, Ofori Atta noted that President Akufo-Addo has performed impressively even in the midst of a global pandemic than the erstwhile John Mahama administration.

He noted that Ghana was taken out of IMF in record time yet those who sent the country there keep wishing it doom.

“Mr. Speaker we must be careful as a nation to reject those who return from the Promised Land, with a bad report to subvert the spirit of our people and to reject leaders who would take us back to Egypt,” Ken Ofori-Atta said.
