Former Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, and founder of the Atta Mills Institute, Koku Anyidoho has excitedly revealed that President Akufo-Addo has accepted to build the Asomdwe Park to its original architectural design.
Asomdwe Park, the burial place of late President John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills, has not been built to its intended structure since the site was marked 8 years ago.
Even though the party of the late professor was in government, they failed to complete the project, leaving a dilapidated burial site unbefitting of the legacy of the late President, who had also served for four years as Vice-President to Jerry John Rawlings.
Koku Anyidoho, a man who worked closely with the late president has in the past chastized his own party for failing to complete the design of the Asomdwe Park, and also for failing to protect the legacy of the late President.
However, it appears Mr. Anyidoho’s prayers have finally been answered as he announced in a tweet that the current President, Nana Akufo-Addo has committed to completing the project that houses the remains of one of Ghana’s unblemished politicians.
