Peace FM Is Begging NDC Because They Need Us To Make Money – NDC Systems Analyst, Yayra Koku

A system analyst, and a staunch member of the campaign team of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Yayra Koku Deku has opined that media giants, Peace Fm are only begging the NDC to return to their flagship Kokrokoo program because of the money they will get.

The Communications Directorate of the NDC led by the Party’s communications officer, Sammy Gyamfi severed their relationship with Peace Fm a few months ago after their concerns on the empanelling of NDC speakers on the Kokrokoo show were brushed aside by show host, Kwame Sefa Kayi.

The NDC had earlier sought to get the Station to bar their former Central Regional Chairman, Allotey Jacobs from appearing on the show in the name of the party, after they accused him of persistent “anti-party” conduct.

The party finally resolved to cut ties with the media network after their requests were overlooked.

However, the Management of the Station has resolved to take the initiative to end the ‘bad blood’ by calling on the NDC to rescind its boycott.

In a letter signed by the Managing Director of the Station, Fadda Dickson, the media giants urged the NDC to “let sleeping dogs lie and allow harmony to reign.

Commenting on the latest turn of events, Yayra Koku believes that the Station has realized they need NDC to make money, hence their decision for reconciliation.

The systems analyst is also of the opinion that Peace Fm is a stooge of the ruling NPP, describing the Kokrokoo show as no different from Oman Fm’s ‘Boiling Point’.
