Tricycle Operators in the North East region have stated that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) promise to legalise okada when voted into power cannot be termed as job creation.
According to the group, the promise is a “deliberate attempt to hoodwink the electorate just to get their votes.”
To them, the government can rather invest in the activities of Tricycle operators to boost their business and earn them a better living.
Speaking at a press conference, Chairman of the Tricycle Operators, Mr. Makom Abu noted that road accidents and armed robbery rates in the country will spiral once okada has been okayed in the country.
