NPP Primaries- A Candidate Dangerously Ditches Out Free Cars

Published

on

It is that time of the election period again as various political parties prepare for both parliamentary and national elections.

Usually, with the Parliamentary Elections, it starts from an internal voting called the primaries from where the winner stands alongside the Presidential Candidate for the national elections.

What struck us is the ridiculous and orthodoxical methods some of these aspirants are campaigning. We could call it fatal as it is deadly and invisibly sitting on our breath if not checked rapidly would lead to our suffocation by some of these politicians.

It has been gathered that, Mr. Yves Hanson Nortey a presidential aspirant of Tema Central Constituency is gifting away cars to delegates for votes. The quantity of cars ditched out so far is more than seventy one.

We believe this should raise eyebrows even if the finances in acquiring these cars came from his own pocket. It is evident and obvious that, Mr. Yves will be sure to recoup whatever he would lose in this ridiculous campaign exercise from his office should he unluckily win to become the Member of Parliament.

There are about 540 delegates in this constituency. Perhaps we should all wait and see if each of this people would also get a car.

Allow Me Bring Sleeping Sir John Back To Life- Pastor Kwabena Boniface

Published

on

Pastor Borniface Kwabena Idahosa claims he could resurrect the dead Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie also Known as Sir John back to life if he is given the nod to.

Sir John was a former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the CEO of Forestry Commission until his demise at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital after suffering complications from Covid-19.

Just when we thought the country was getting restive from some of these charlatans in the name of God, another emanates from nowhere with such ridiculous claims.

The founder and leader of Faith In Christ Ministry International if indeed not suffering from some of bipolar disorder believes the former General Secretary had been sleeping for almost 72 hours.

Pastor Borniface said, “Sir John is not dead but asleep. I heard this in my dream last night, and I am willing to resurrect him from his sleep if government and the families will only allow me.”

Since Covid-19 is the trending disease now, we are worried if there are any advance signs and symptoms of Covid patients to act delusional or suffer any mental disorder so doctors could quickly diagnose our man of God and treat him.

Voter Registration- PNC’s Bernard Mornah Throws in the Towel

Published

on

The old adage of the survival of the fittest comes into play as Bernard Mornah finally succumb to the powers of the Electoral Commission of Ghana.

The National Chairman of the People’s National Convention, (PNC), hitherto was in disagreement with the EC’s decision to compile a new voters’ Register ahead of the 2020 General Elections.

According to Mr Mornah, the massive disapproval the EC has received on its decision to compile the new register is unprecedented yet the EC couldn’t be bothered.

Mr Mornah said the EC is adamant because it has the backing of the ruling party therefore he has no option but to throw in the towel and register.

However, he cautions the EC to watch out for some potential dangers that could mar the process.

“Never in the history of our nation has the EC decided to embark on an exercise received such a massive rejection from the population. The EC has the backing of the ruling party and therefore they want to go ahead. We have no option because our hands are tied to our backs, but we have alerted some potential dangers and the EC much watch out,”

Mr. Mornah was speaking on Eyewitness news on Monday.

Madam Jean Mensah, Chairman for the Electoral commission in a statement, has urged all Ghanaians to come out and register in the New Voters Register as their actions and decisions are without fear and favor: “Our decisions and actions are taken without fear or favour or without recourse to any persons. I urge Ghanaians to move out and register. Let us join hands to ensure that every Ghanaian is able to register, and nobody will be left out.”

The controverted EC Boss said this to a group of 44,000 registration officers enrolled for the registration exercise set to commence today, 30th June, 2020.

“A major concern a number of citizens have raised with us has to do with the quality of our temporary officers. We have recruited, trained, and deployed over 44, 000 staff into the field. We are confident that the training provided them to operate efficiently and professionally. As part of the training, we have drummed home the importance of instilling in them the principles of integrity, fairness, and transparency in all their activities throughout the registration process.

“It is important to note that the Ghana Health Service released some 7,000 health assistance to each of the registration centres nationwide. It is expected that the health assistance will assist us in ensuring strict adherence to the safety protocols outlined by the Electoral Commission and all of these safety measures, we will rely on your cooperation dear citizens,”  Madam Jean revealed.
