New Corona ICU Centre To Be Opened At Dodowa – Gov’t

Government has revealed plans to open a new Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for Coronavirus at Dodowa in Accra.

According to the Director General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr Kumah Aboagye, Dodowa treatment centre for Coronavirus is 80 percent complete.

Updating the press on Thursday July 2 about the state of hospitalisation and infrastructure, especially bed capacity for treatment of coronavirus patients, he said the Ho Centre was 30 percent complete.

He disclosed that the Pentecost Isolation Centre has a 600 bed-capacity, with only 207 cases or patients at the Centre. While the Prampram Isolation Centre has 160 beds and is still empty.
