Near Confusion At Bole As Mahama’s Security Guard’s Name Goes Missing In Voters Register

It was near confusion at the polling station in Bole where the NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama arrived from Accra to cast his vote.

The near confusion stemmed from the fact that one of the former President’s security aides had his name conspicuously missing from the voters register even though he registered at the same center with the NDC flagbearer.

The former President expressed concern at the turn-out of events, insisting that he registered at the same center with his security aide.

“One of my security guards, I registered here with him and during the exhibition, we checked his name.

“We got here today and his name is not there and so I don’t know if it is a generalized problem but it is too early to make an assessment. We are waiting to find out what the presiding officer will say.

“We hope that they can rectify this. These are some of the little things that we kept complaining about,” Mr. Mahama said.
