EC Official Beaten At Kwadaso For Deliberately Not Stamping Ballot Papers

An EC official at ‘Borla k3se3 ho’, a polling station in Kwadaso in the Ashanti Region has been badly manhandled after it was alleged that he deliberately refused to stamp ballot papers before handing it to voters.

Angel FM 102.9 FM reports that a voter first raised the concern, and her concern was corroborated by other voters to the effect that their ballot papers were not stamped.

Following confirmation that the officer was indeed not stamping ballot papers, angry voters accosted the officer in question, manhandling him in the process.

The NDC and NPP agents at the polling station subsequently came to the agreement that all ballot papers which were not stamped will be counted as valid.
