National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama has promised to pay back customers money which has been locked up in collapsed financial institutions should he be given the nod to be president on December 7.

Addressing party Executives at the University of Professional Studies(UPSA) in Accra when he officially outdoored his running mate Prof Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, Mahama said President Akufo Addo is only desperate to hold on to power but has no real solutions for the people of Ghana.

He said, “we will within one year of being in office pay customers of the collapsed financial institutions all funds locked up. We shall not put together any long plan that will delay the payment.”

Chiding the president he said, “Akufo-Addo is a president who has no real solutions for the people of Ghana, a president who is hell bent on staying in power, a president who is disenfranchising Ghanaians and replacing the same voter register that brought him into power.”
