Pressure is intensifying on President Akufo-Addo to sack Ken Ofori-Atta after NPP executives from 253 constituencies in the country voted to back calls for the sacking of the finance minister.
This portal has learned that these 253 constituencies convened special forums to take this decision under the auspices of the Party’s National Chairman and General Secretary.
After deliberations, 253 out of the 275 constituencies voted to back calls for the sacking of the finance minister.
The NPP was compelled to take this course of action after some 90 MPs belonging the Party’s caucus in parliament publicly called on the President to sack the finance minister for gross incompetence.
