The Minority in Parliament boycotted the vetting of the Techiman South Member of Parliament, Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah.

Their action was because they did not recognise as a legitimately elected Member of Parliament for Techiman following the violence that characterized the collation of results in the constituency during the 2020 polls.

Mr Adjei Korsah is being vetted for the position of Deputy Minister for Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development.

The NDC minority is currently in court challenging the results of the Techiman South polls, insisting it won the Parliamentary contest but were cheated during the collation of results.
