Mahama Not A Renewed Person- Chairman Wontumi Replies Haruna Iddrisu
The Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Chairman Wontumi, has flagged former President John Mahama as a man who administered Ghana’s economy like a “pickpocket”.
Chairman Wontumi’s point stems from a comment by the Member of Parliament for Tamale South, Haruna Iddrisu that former President Mahama is now a renewed person competent to solve some f the challenges confronting the country when he becomes president again.
Quoting from the Bible, the NPP Chairman stated that just as it would be it easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God, he believes the “pickpocket” administration run by John Mahama would make it difficult for him to be a renewed person.
“John Mahama can never change at his age. The man is old enough to know the difference between right and wrong but when he had the chance to govern Ghana, he chose to do us wrong. He did things which were not right and because he has been rejected by voters, Haruna wants to tell us that he has learnt his lessons and is a changed man? Never believe in this lie, it is a scam if any NDC person tells you that John Mahama has changed from his negative ways”, Chairman Wontumi said.
