Mahama Is Confusing The “Sound Of His Gin Bottles” To The Voice Of God- Chairman Wontumi

The Ashanti regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has dismissed claims by former President John Mahama that God has spoken to him concerning the 2024 general elections.

Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi gave a sharp riposte that it is rather the sound of the gin bottles the former President gulps that is speaking to him and not that of God.

“John Mahama is confusing the sound of his gin bottles to the voice of God. He has to remain sober before speaking to the crowd else he would be hearing voices in his heard that are coming from the hard drinks he takes and blame them on God”, Chairman Wontumi said.

In a meeting with delegates at Akropong, John Mahama said God has given the NDC victory in the 2024 elections and no group of persons can overturn the will of God for his people.

“Don’t listen to what those people are saying because it is the will of God. I am a Christian and I have faith in God. God speaks to me. He says NDC, this is our time. He has given us victory in the 2024 elections already.” he said.

But Chairman Wontumi advised him to stay away from his “gin bottles” before engaging the crowd.
