Leave Free SHS Alone; Has Anyone Come To You For School Fees? – Mahama Quizzed
The Asokwa Constituency Treasurer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Paul Kwabena Yandoh, has opposed a call by former President John Mahama for government to review the implementation of the free Senior High School program.
Mr. Yandoh admitted on Wontumi TV that though the free SHS has challenges, the benefit it has come with far outweighs its negatives.
He therefore advised Mr. Mahama to focus on reviewing the “twerking video” of his daughter Farida and allow students enjoy the free SHS implemented by the government of President Akufo-Addo.
“What at all do you want from the free shs students? What have they done to you? Has anyone come to you for school fees?” Paul Yandoh thundered.
At the 8th Biennial Delegate Conference of the Ghana National Association of Private School (GNAPS) in Koforidua, former President John Mahama called on government to consider a national stakeholders’ conference to review the free SHS.
