India Announces Trial Of Covid Vaccine on Humans To Start In July

India is set to start a trial immunization process of a produced Covid vaccine on volunteers in July.

So far, reports indicate that, trials on animals prove that the vaccine is safe and induces effectual response by the immune system.

There will be an unspecified number of this volunteers to undergo the immunization as part of a trial by Hyderabad-based firm Bharat Biotech.

So far, there had been many countries in the world to undergo the trial with about 120 vaccine programmes in progress.

This is the first vaccine to be locally produced by India in relation to the deadly Corona virus.

However, about six Indian firms are making vaccines to fight the Covid disease.
