I’m Not Surprised ‘Empty’ Akufo Addo Was Unaware of Registration Violence – Nukpenu Slams

The Greater Accra Regional Organiser of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Anthony Nukpenu has chided President Akufo Addo for feigning ignorance about the violence that associated the registration exercise, labeling him ’empty’.

Speaking on Power FM, Mr Nukpenu insisted the President knows nothing because he has surrounded himself with ’empty heads’ who have no idea about good governance.

He stated, “he president is the most empty president we have had on this land. How would he know people are being intimidated at Banda and other areas when he is empty? He [akufo-Addo] is very empty so he has to employ those tactics.”

Mr Nukpenu further criticised the use of military by government to intimidate some Ghanaians during the registration and stressed that same thing will not be allowed on December 7.

“I can send a signal to the NPP. As we speak I am confident of the large support the security service has for the NDC. On election day, no bagawaya [no fears]. They [unqualified security personnel] cannot dominate,” he warned .
