I’ll Personally Sponsor Mahama To Be NDC Flagbearer In 2024 – Chairman Wontumi

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, also known as Chairman Wontumi has said he’ll sponsor former president John Dramani Mahama to be reelected as flagbearer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in 2024.

According to him, Mr Mahama is an easy candidate that will help the NPP perfectly break the 8 in 2024.

“I know the former president is not broke, but I will definitely sponsor his campaign for his re-election as the flagbearer for the party, which I know when he wins, it is going to be very easy for the NPP to win the 2024 elections no matter who the party will field as a candidate for the 2024 elections,” Wontumi was reported by ghanguardian.com.

Meanwhile Mr Mahama is currently on a thank you tour across several regions in the country. He’s yet to officially announce his intention to contest as flagbearer for the NDC in 2024.
