I Will Not Work With Anyone Who Runs Independent – Akufo-Addo Warns Aspiring NPP MP’s

The President of the Republic of Ghana and flagbearer of the NPP for the 2020 Elections has warned all Parliamentary aspirants in his party who desire to run as independent candidates to abandon the idea.

According to the President, having taken the time to speak to all losing candidates to join forces with the winning candidates and ensure massive victory for the Party in the Parliamentary contest, he will treat anyone who goes against his wishes as disrespectful persons whom he cannot work with.

President Akufo-Addo emphasized that he needs an emphatic majority in Parliament to make his work easier, thereby admonishing all Party supporters to vote against persons who run independent.

Over 200 unsuccessful party aspirants in the NPP’s last Parliamentary primaries have joined forces and launched a campaign to mobilize the grassroots for a resounding victory for the NPP in the December 2020 Elections.
