I Don’t Believe In “Aduru Woso” Mantra – Sammi Awuku Says As He Expresses Support For Bawumia

Director General of the National Lottery Authority, Mr. Sammi Awuku has expresses support for the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to lead the NPP in the 2024 general election.

Mr. Awuku stated that when it comes to choosing competent leaders to lead the Party, he does not subscribe to the “aduru woso” (it is your time) mantra.

There are many within and outside the NPP who are of the opinion that Mr. Alan Kyerematen is more deserving of leading the NPP since he has contested the current President, Nana Akufo-Addo on about three occasions.

Mr. Awuku is of the belief that looking at the Vice President’s religious tolerance, humility and ability to accomodate divergent opinions, he is the right candidate to lead the NPP into the next elections.
