Former Member of Parliament (MP) for Bantama constituency, Henry Kwabena Kokofu has taken a jibe at National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Mahama insisting he is a try and error president.
Speaking on UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ on Tuesday, Mr Kokofu said the former president must know that presidency is a serious business and not like a laboratory where you can do try and error.
“Politics is not a laboratory where we go and do experiments. It is not a try and error. What I am saying is the destiny of Ghana does not rely on trial and error leaders but in systems that work.”
He added, “when we talk about someone who has been privileged in Ghana’s politics, Mr. Mahama will not be far from it. What at all is he coming back to do?”
Kokofu therefore called on New Patriotic Party (NPP) members to hammer on the party’s achievements ahead of the December 7 polls.
