GES Announced For The Recruitment Of First Batch Of Degree Holders From The Colleges of Education -Details

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced for the recruitment of the first batch of Degree holders from the Colleges of Education.

According to the GES, Applicants must meet these criteria before they can be employed.

  1. The applicant must complete College of Education in 2022 and has no outstanding examination or referrals.
  2. Complete the mandatory National Service.
  3. Ready to work wherever their services would be needed.

Job Purpose
a. To facilitate learning using 21st Century technology
b. Continuously improve learner’s ability to research using new technologies
c. Teach highly motivated learners, cater for learners with different learning abilities and help them achieve excellent academic results.
d. Attend relevant and continuous professional development sessions
e. Use a variety of assessment tools and tasks to accurately assess levels of learners’ competency.
f. Any other responsibility that would be assigned to you by your Head of institution

How to apply

Applicants are to visit the GES portal www.gespromotions.gov.gh

All applicants are requested to upload the following documents on the portal

  1. Degree Certificate
  2. NSS Certificate
  3. NTC Licensure Number
  4. Ghana Card
  5. Passport-sized photograph

The portal will be opened to the public from 15th May, 2024.

Deadline

The GES slated the deadline for the application to 17th June 2024.
