Gabby Mocks Mahama With ‘Youth In Grass Cutting And Women In Stone Picking’ As 2020 Presidential Policies

Gabby Otchere-Darko, a staunch member of the New Patriotic Party alleges that, President Mahama would be introducing youth in grass cutting and women in stone picking as part of his presidential policies if re-elected back into power.

The outspoken NPP member said, these among other policies were some of the initiatives the former president had wanted to introduce before losing power to the incumbent government in the 2016 elections.

Mr. Otchere-Darko was reacting to an alleged video of which former Minister of State in-charge of Public Private Partnership in Mahama’s administration,, Raship Pelpuo was heard saying that unemployed nurses and teachers could resort to picking and selling of stones as a form of employment.

He said, it was evident that those would be some of the National Democratic Congress’s(NDC) flagbearer’s 2020 presidential policies should he be re-elected as the president.

“A little peak inside the 2020 NDC manifesto and some of the mistakes that JM has learnt and wishes to correct if elected, like implementing policies his Govt suggested but never had the chance to implement. Some of these policies Ghanaians should look forward to include: Youth in Grass Cutting; Women in Stone Picking. Three trips of stones a day from the bush solve all your unemployment problems,” he mockingly stated.
He reveled that, going back for the former president was synonymous to going for problems.
