Hawa Koomson Has Done Nothing Wrong, Her Life Was Under Threat – Nana B Justifies Rambo-style Shooting Incident

National Youth Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye has defended the Minister for Special Development Initiative, Mavis Hawa Koomson for firing warning shots at a registration centre in her constituency.

According to Nana B, he fully supports the actions of Hawa Koomson because she did no wrong and was right in her capacity to fire some shots.

Speaking in an interview on UTV, Nana B alleged that Hawa Koomson’s life was under threat so she had to pull out the gun to defend herself in the midst of the thugs.

Describing the Minister as a non-violent person, Nana B stated “anyone who knows her knows she is calm. Hawa Koomson was fighting against those thugs busing people from Nsawam and its environs to Kasoa to register. Hawa Koomson had to defend herself because people on motorbikes with guns came to surround her car.”

“Look, Members of Parliament are given self-defence training so she had to defend herself. So me, I fully support what she did and this should tell the security personnel to up their game. She was under serious attack and her life was under threat so she had to defend herself. So, we fully support her.” He added.
