#EndSARS: Stop Piling Pressure On Nana Addo And ECOWAS – International Relations Expert

International relations expert, Dr. Vladimir Antwi-Danso is cautioning Ghanaians especially celebrities to stop mounting needless pressure on ECOWAS Chairperson, President Akuffo-Addo to address the sub region on the now popular #EndSARS protests.

According to him President Nana Addo does not have to “open his mouth” when he knows it’s not the right time.

Speaking on TV3, 9Wednesday Morning, Dr. Antwi-Danso stated that the President with his experience in international diplomacy might have been using his own diplomatic tactics in ensuring an amicable solution is found.

He added that the fact that he is the ECOWAS chairperson does not mean he should speak at every given opportunity while advising that people should have patience and stop stampeding on the President to act.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo has come under severe pressure in recent days over what has been described as his deafening silence on police brutalities on innocent citizens and peaceful protesters on Nigeria.
